Pritam Bagauti
I bow to the woman of strength,
who's grace could be described at length.
I bow to the divine feminine,
in all women and within.

I bow to the adi shakti, the primal feminine power,
I honor that creativity in all, from each person to each flower.
I bow to the Khalsa women and their valiant bravery,
They are examples to the women in slavery.

Slavery of the mind, steals a woman's grace,
her unrighteous actions written on her face.
She does not realized she is enslaved,
she thinks she's empowered by actions depraved.

The women of the Khalsa, are worthy of praise,
Examples of how to follow the Guru's divine ways.
I bow to that divine feminine spirit of WaheGuru,
The mother and nurturer of all that is true.

"...Without a voice, how is one to sing?..."

Lend Me Your Heart and Give Me Reciprocity

Lend Me Your Spirit and Give Me a Choice

Lend Me Your Mind and Give Me Empathy

Lend Me Your Ears and Give Me a Voice.

I am the Jewel of Your Crown

I am the Walls of Your Fort

I am the Pillars of Your Mansion

I am a Daughter of the Khalsa

Guru Ji's Daughters - Let us Do Seva
Harimandir Sahib longs for the touch of Thy mothers,
Thy sisters, daughters, and all the others,
Who bow each day to Siri Guru Granth,
Following the path of the Khalsa Panth,
Who enter freely through all four doors,
Except when it is time to clean the floors.

In those holiest hours when it is such
A beautiful time to serve and touch
The marble where the saints have walked,
Why must those gilded doors be locked
To women alone, the Guru’s daughters,
Cleansed by Thy Word and Thy Holy Waters?

The women of Bibi Bhani’s line,
And those descended from Mata Sahib Kaur’s time,
Gather as one to utter this prayer:
"O compassionate Guru of infinite care,
Let all Sikhs enact this holy rite,
As all are immaculate in Thy sight."

You are our Lord and Master; to You, I offer this prayer.
This body and soul are all Your property.
You are our mother and father; we are Your children.
In Your Grace, there are so many joys!
No one knows Your limits.
O Highest of the High, Most Generous God,
the whole creation is strung on Your thread.
That which has come from You is under Your Command.
You alone know Your state and extent.
Nanak, Your slave, is forever a sacrifice. II8II4II

The bond between mother and child is a special one. It remains unchanged by time or distance. It is the purest love ~ unconditional and true. It is understanding of any situation and forgiving of any mistake.

The bond between mother and child creates a support that is constant while everything else changes. It is a friendship based on mutual love, respect, and a genuine liking of each other as a person. It is knowing that no matter where you go or who you are, there is someone who truly loves you and is always there to support and console you. When a situation seems impossible, you make it through together by holding on to each other.

The bond between mother and child is strong enough to withstand harsh words and hurt feelings, for it is smart enough to always see the love beyond words. It is brave enough to always speak the truth, even when lies would be easier. It is always there ~ anytime, anywhere ~ whenever it is needed. It is a gift held in the heart and in the soul, and it canot be taken away or exchanged for another. To possess this love is a treasure that makes life more valuable.
